There is currently a planned service disruption. We apologize for any inconvenience; however, the Splash Pad at Joel Stone Park will be Closed for the Season.

From: September 30, 2024
To: May 2025

The disruption includes: the Splash Pad located at 135 Water Street; The Splash Pad will be closed for the season. Splash Pad will reopen in spring of 2025. The washrooms remain open with limited hours 8:00am – 3:00pm until Thanksgiving weekend October 14th, 2024.

The following alternative services are available:
Washrooms located at town hall 30 King St., E and Visitors center 10 King St., E. 9am – 4:00pm

The Town of Gananoque Confederation Park Water Fountain will be removed for the Season by October 24, 2024, and reinstalled in May of 2025.

Due to the high-water flow and debris this past summer we were unable to operate the fountain for the latter part of the summer. We will work to solve this problem for 2025.

The disruption includes:
All Town owned park washroom facilities remain closed from October to May. This will include Joel Stone washrooms and Splashpad, Town Hall park ball diamond washrooms and Washrooms behind Lou Jefferies Arena. We look forward to opening up in the spring May of 2025.

The following alternative services are available. During open hours Town Hall washrooms and Visitors center washrooms approximate hours 9am-4:00pm.

The disruption includes:
The Gananoque Municipal Marina docks, grounds, parking lot and small boat launch as extensive Dock Replacement commences. All boats will be required to vacate the marina including those slips that do not require main dock access.

(This includes the RB and PO docks that will also be fenced off as part of the construction zone).

The marina small boat launch will close for the season at 3:00pm on October 31, 2024. The Lion's Launch will remain open for boater use.

AECON UTILITIES will be entering various manholes on king Street to remove Bell copper cables. Each manhole will require access for a maximum of 2 hours. All lanes will remain open, with some minor lane shifts. Temporary sidewalk closures may take place. Please follow signage.
