Property taxes are due on the last business day in March, May, August and October each year.
Please be advised that the interim tax notices are mailed at the beginning of March to all Town of Gananoque property owners, excluding those paid by mortgage companies or by pre-authorized payments. Final tax bills are mailed at the beginning of August.
If you have not yet received your tax notice please contact the Taxes and Revenue Administrator 613-382-2149, ext. 1114 or by emailing, taxesandrevenue@gananoque.ca. Failure to receive a tax notice does not alleviate the rate payer from late payment charges should the tax account become past due. The Town requests that residents retain receipts for income tax purposes. Receipt reprints are available for a fee of $10.00. Statements of account are available for a fee of $5.00.
