Fees & Submission of Forms

Payments can be made by cash, cheque, debit or credit card at the Visitor Centre. Cheques can be made payable to “Town of Gananoque”.

Be sure to submit your form by November 22nd, 2024.

Are you towing a float or driving a decorated vehicle?
(Including vehicles and space for walkers, etc.)

The information you provide will assist us in organizing the parade and may be used in promotion materials.

Automobile Liability Insurance

For participants using a vehicle, we require information regarding the Automobile Liability Insurance of the driver. Please note: parade applicants may be asked to provide proof of automotive and/or business liability insurance.

Rules and Regulations

  1. All entries must be decorated in a festive manner and appropriate for a family audience.
  2. All participants must be insured.
  3. No entry may feature Santa Claus or Mrs. Claus, as they will be appearing exclusively on the final float.
  4. Throwing candy or other objects from floats or vehicles is strictly prohibited for safety reasons. Walkers may hand out candy or promotional items along the parade route.
  5. All entries must maintain a consistent pace and keep up with the flow of the parade.
  6. Drivers and operators of vehicles or floats must have a valid drivers license and provide proof of insurance.
  7. All participants must conduct themselves in a safe and responsible manner and follow the instructions of parade marshals and volunteers.
  8. Any entry deemed unsafe or inappropriate by the parade organizers may be removed from the parade.
  9. Zero tolerance for alcohol and drug use.
  10. The parade committee reserves the right to refuse or limit entries. An entry may be refused up to the start of the parade should the entry not meet parade guidelines or differ from the approved entry form.
  11. All entries are required to clean up behind their animals along the route.
  12. There will be no premature exiting of the parade route, except in the case of an emergency.
