I am an abstract artist from Kingston, Ontario, working in acrylic. I love to work with texture and layers, as I want there to be an interplay between what is visible on the surface, and the layers underneath. I achieve different texture using a large pallet knife, and texture medium . I rarely use brushes, preferring to apply the paint with a rag, my hands or a pallet knife. Many of my pieces have a landscape feel, due to the horizontal application of the paint.
