Event Location: Most people are terrified of improv which is exactly why you should do it. It's actually an easy fear to overcome with impressive results.
Although it scares people, the irony is most people can master and enjoy improv immensely with proper training. There is increasing evidence that doing improv can make you happier, less anxious and more confident.

Starting in May, there’s a unique opportunity to learn improv in the Kingston, Gananoque area at the Royal Theatre in Gananoque.
Improv for Happiness is improv technique that unites positive psychology and improv principles in a fun action-oriented ensemble. The 6 Week workshop is taught by filmmaker and Laughologist Albert Nerenberg who directed the award-winning TV documentary You Are What You Act.
Nerenberg learned improv from Keith Johnstone who is considered one of the inventors of modern improv. Nerenberg performed and taught improv all over the world.

Space is limited. Improv for Happiness. Dates are Tuesday evenings at the Royal Theatre 6:30 - 9:30 pm. May 23 to June 27th. Price is $175 plus taxes.
