PITCH IN is the largest environmental improvement Campaign in Canada. It is a partnership between governments, the media, industry and the public. Volunteers participate in a wide range of PITCH-IN CANADA WEEK activities.
Did you know?
In total, more than 725,000 Canadians, members of thousands of local groups and more than 1,500 local PITCH-IN Volunteer Coordinators participate in the program each year in communities throughout Canada.
The PITCH-IN WEEK Campaign for Gananoque will take place from April 20th-26th this year. We invite volunteers to "pitch in" and help enhance the beauty of our community by collecting litter from roadways, trails, parks, and shorelines. Yellow Pitch-In bags are available at Town Hall, the Public Works Office, and the Public Works Yard. Once you've filled a bag with litter, simply place it out with your regular garbage (no tag required). Alternatively, if you're part of a group, you can arrange for staff pickup by contacting the Public Works Office at Ext. 1613. Let's work together to keep Gananoque looking its best!
Thank you for PITCHING IN!
