Our staff have worked hard to facilitate the opening of the Gord Brown Memorial Outdoor Rink (GBM) with the challenging weather conditions the past several weeks. The schedule is posted here and pinned to the top of the page and can also be found on our website, https://bit.ly/3IJ221i
As we kick off another season at the GBM, we’d like to kindly remind everyone of a few important details:
Everyone is Welcome
The rink is for skaters of all ages and skill levels, so let’s be mindful of each other while enjoying the outdoor rink.
Shinny & Skating
While we love hockey, please remember that some people come to the rink to skate only. Let’s respect each other’s space and make sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience.
Respect is Key
Let’s all work together to make sure everyone can enjoy the rink and facilities in a friendly, respectful environment. This unsupervised outdoor rink relies on courtesy and respect at all times.
Please note:
- During Public Skating Hours: No sticks or pucks.
- During Shinny Hockey Hours: No body contact, lifting the puck, or slap shots.
We look forward to another year of time enjoyed at the outdoor rink.
Thank you for your cooperation!
