Do I need to recycle differently?
No, please keep sorting your recycling as you do now, alternating weeks for Fibres and Containers.
Will my collection day be different?
YES – it moves forward by 1 day. If you have a Monday collection it will become Tuesday, effective March 31st. If you have a Thursday collection it will become Friday, effective March 31st.
Why are these changes happening?
The Ontario government has made the producers of recyclable materials responsible for funding and operating the recycling system. Emterra has been selected by these Producers to collect material on their behalf.
