In the spirit of Local Government Week, the Town of Gananoque hosted a council meeting at @Gananoque ISS - UCDSB, on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. To supplement the learning they will accomplish in their Civics course, students from grade 10 attended the meeting.
The Town of Gananoque joins other municipalities across Ontario in celebrating Local Government Week.
This event is recognized annually across the Province of Ontario to showcase municipalities’ commitment to building healthy, vibrant communities and increase awareness about the important role that local governments play in communities.
