Environment Canada has issued a heat warning to last throughout this week. These high temperatures and humidity may affect your health. Becoming over heated can cause dehydration, heat exhaustion, heat stroke and in some cases death. Even short periods of exposure to high temperatures can cause health problems.

The disruption includes: The Town will be completing a water main repair on the 100 block of Oak Street, between First Street and Second Street.

Oak Street will be temporarily closed from First Street to Second Street for a watermain leak repair. Repair will be taking place between 105 Oak Street and 220 First Street. Oak Street will be open to local traffic only.
UPDATE: Please be advised that because of the watermain break; the West side entrance of Shoppers Drug Mart and the Elmwood walking trail will remain closed until tomorrow June 11 at 3:30pm. Please refrain from using the walking trail until it is re-opened.
In the event of a power outage; if traffic lights fail, due to the outage, treat the intersection as a four-way stop. Each driver must come to a complete stop and proceed when it is safe and their turn.
