The Town of Gananoque and the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands are launching a shop local photo contest, “Grow With Us.” As of Monday, June 22nd, some of our small local businesses will be handing out “Thank you for shopping locally” postcards when a local purchase is made.

Once given the postcard, the customer must take a picture of themselves with the postcard and post it to their social media accounts, Facebook or Instagram using the hashtag, "#growwithus". These instructions are also on the back of the postcard. The Town of Gananoque will reach out to collect contact information once a photo has been posted. This will be the entry into the draw for prizes from local businesses. One social media post per one postcard.
Our goal for this project is to help give a small thank you for shopping locally and show support of shopping locally online to your network. The prizes will be drawn on August 4th. We are all in this together. Remember small acts of kindness are important, check on your loved ones, share positive messages, and help support our local businesses.
