Gananoque’s blue box recycling will be collected by Emterra Group beginning this week.
There are no changes with what materials you can recycle, however your collection day changes. Your collection day will move forward ONE day starting this week.
The Town of Gananoque has declared a Significant Weather Event in response to winter weather conditions that will impact travel throughout the Town of Gananoque. This declaration is made pursuant to Ontario Regulation 239/02, Minimum Maintenance Standards for Municipal Highways.

It is with immense hometown pride that the Gananoque Police Service announces that our current Acting Chief, Sgt. Rich Swann, has accepted the position of Chief of Police for the Town of Gananoque. Sgt. Swann has been with the Gananoque Police Service since 1997 and was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 2015.

North bound traffic is being redirected to Georgiana St. and south bound traffic is being redirected to Charles St. N.
